Since 2007 responsible for editorial development of the seven regional newspapers (circ. 870.000 per day) of Royal Wegener, the largest regional publisher of the Netherlands. Extensive experience also in broadcasting industry (radio, television).
Before that, editor-in-chief of the Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau, the national news agency of the Netherlands, for ten years. In charge of transformation of the agency from a newspaper oriented production house, to a multimedia service provider. One of the founding fathers of the MINDS-project, a European program to develop turnkey applications for the new generation of UMTS-phones.
Currently also board member of World Portraits, a photo agency for the benefit of people in developing countries.
